JOKA brand ambassador
Denise Herrmann-Wick
Denise was a permanent member of the German biathlon team for many years and continues to work as a brand ambassador for JOKA even after the end of her career. Born in Saxony, she was already a successful cross-country skier before switching to biathlon: in 2014, she won the bronze medal with the cross-country relay team at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
As a biathlon athlete, she then won gold in the individual event at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing and became world champion in the sprint at her home World Championships in Oberhof in 2023. Together with her husband Thomas Wick, also a JOKA brand ambassador, she recently built a house in her adopted home of Ruhpolding - equipped with JOKA products, of course. This winter she will also be appearing on TV as a biathlon expert.

What makes a house or flat a home for you?
In my eyes, the influence of natural materials such as wood gives a house life. Wood as a natural product changes over time, it lives. In combination with personal objects, colour and charismatic lighting, you can create a feel-good atmosphere in which you can let go, relax and recharge your batteries.
What do you associate with the JOKA brand?
For me, the JOKA brand stands for a traditional company that loves and lives sport, encourages and challenges people and combines nature and modernity in its work.
What is your greatest strength?
My greatest strength is my creativity. It helps me to let off steam and work out mentally as well as physically. It makes my life varied because it opens up different areas of activity for me. It also helps me to find different solutions when I'm at a supposed dead end.
Magdalena Neuner

What does nature mean to you?
For me, nature means: coming back to myself, being grounded and taking a deep breath. I love being outdoors and experiencing the silence of the forest. Even as a professional sportswoman, that was always one of the reasons why I loved my job so much. Being able to be out and about is a gift.
Why do you like working with the JOKA brand?
For me, working with JOKA is just perfect because I can totally identify with the products and the people behind the brand. Authenticity is also extremely important for me as the Magdalena Neuner brand and I absolutely feel this in connection with JOKA.
What is your favourite leisure activity?
I just love being outdoors, my favourite place to be is at the lake. When the weather is nice and I'm out on my bike and can jump into the cool water afterwards, I'm absolutely happy.
Laura Dahlmeier
With five gold and one silver medal during the 2017 World Championships, Laura is the most successful participant in a single biathlon world championship. In 2015, she received the Bavarian Sports Award as "Ambassador of Bavarian Sport" together with her team-mates from the world champion relay team, and in 2017 she was voted Sportswoman of the Year.
The exceptional athlete ended her career after the 2018/2019 season. She was officially bid farewell at the JOKA Biathlon World Team Challenge in Schalke on 28 December 2019. Laura is now a state-certified mountain and ski guide and also devotes herself professionally to her passion for the mountains.

JOKA was and is an absolutely reliable, familiar and down-to-earth partner for me. I am very grateful for the great trust that has been placed in me as a competitive athlete during my active biathlon career and in all my activities. As my family has been running a furniture store for several generations, I also share an appreciation for high-quality and durable products for my home with JOKA.
What is your favourite leisure activity?
Mountain sports in all their facets (ski touring, ice climbing, climbing, mountaineering, biking, ...). And you can still find me on the cross-country ski trail in winter - but without a rifle.
What is your greatest strength?
Willpower, ambition and a relaxed attitude.
Benedikt Doll
During his time as a professional biathlon athlete, Benni celebrated 60 World Cup podium finishes. One of the highlights was certainly the bronze medals at the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang in the pursuit and with the relay team. Benni ended his career after the 2023/2024 season.
The passionate amateur chef loves to spend his free time behind the cooker: with his own blog "Doll's Küche", he inspires his fans together with his father, a master chef and former professional athlete, to eat healthy and consciously.
