Optimum care for your wooden floor
Regular cleaning: protection for daily use
Regular cleaning, be it maintenance cleaning or final cleaning, is best carried out using a hoover with upright brushes or a classic hair brush. The use of water should be limited to stubborn dirt and should only be carried out with a slightly damp cloth moistened with JOKA Cleaner at a ratio of 1:200. A well-wrung mop prevents the formation of puddles of water, regardless of the surface sealing or oiling.
Initial care after installation: Standardised treatment for different surfaces
The initial care after laying wooden floors hardly varies between different floor treatments. Lacquered Satin, Velvet or Pro surfaces as well as Natura Oil surfaces are factory-finished with a final lacquer or oil finish and ready for use. Separate maintenance is not required in residential or intensively used commercial areas. Oiled surfaces can be additionally protected with JOKA Oil Protect after final cleaning in intensively used areas.
Intensive cleaning if required: protection against heavy soiling
Intensive cleaning of lacquered floors may be necessary in the event of heavy soiling. The use of JOKA Intensive Cleaner is recommended here. Oiled surfaces also occasionally require intensive cleaning and refreshing, whereby the intensive cleaner in combination with JOKA Oil Protect is the optimum choice.
