Johanna Puff
Johanna made her debut in the IBU Cup right at the start of the 2023/2024 season and skied straight to sixth place. Shortly afterwards, she recorded her first victory and was immediately nominated for the World Cup in Lenzerheide. She was also part of the World Cup team in Antholz, Oslo, Soldier Hollow and Canmore. At the 2024 German Championships in Altenberg, she won silver in the singles and won her first medal in the adult category. At the same time, she completed an apprenticeship with the German Federal Police, which she completed in 2024 as a police master.

How important is sustainability to you?
Sustainability is becoming increasingly important to me. As a young winter sports enthusiast in particular, you are very much confronted with the effects of climate change and the accompanying changes to the environment.
What makes a house or flat a home for you?
I feel at home in a house/apartment when I have furnished it comfortably with personal, familiar objects. The furniture should be simple and natural (ideally made of wood).
How did you get into biathlon?
Rather by chance; like my siblings, I enjoyed cross-country skiing as well as other winter sports. During a trial training session, I found the additional shooting exciting and varied.
