JOKA goes German House
Since 2006, JOKA has regularly equipped German Houses for the summer and winter editions of the Olympic Games. During the Games, the German House is the central meeting point for Team Germany, its partners and guests from sport, business and the media. Here, companies are "in the thick of things instead of just being there". However, the attraction is not only fuelled by the emotional proximity to the event, but also by the direct communication opportunities. The partners utilise this in a variety of ways, for example through specific benefits in kind and services, interactive guest tools, themed evenings or incentives for employees and customers. Press conferences of the German Olympic Sports Confederation, live TV broadcasts of the competitions and various events are organised. A major challenge for JOKA floor coverings.
Paris 2024
We're at it again: Our partnership as supplier of the German House in Paris is entering the next round! In the impressive ambience and outdoor atmosphere of the Stade Jean Bouin, our JOKA artificial turf Capri and hard-wearing carpet Strong Compact are the right choice to welcome fans, press and, above all, the athletes.

PyeongChang 2018
Design floor 555 Grey Driftwood was chosen for the highly frequented public area of the German base station in PyeongChang. The highest quality was required to withstand the heavy traffic caused by a high visitor rate.

Sochi 2014
Thanks to their special properties, such as easy-care and hard-wearing, the German House in Sochi mainly used designer flooring, carpets and needle felt. A total of 1,200 m² was laid in six different variants.

London 2012
An old warehouse building in the Museum of London Docklands became the German House for the 2012 Olympic Games. 1,400 m² of textile and vinyl flooring was laid in the building, fulfilling the high demands placed on aesthetics and function.

Vancouver 2010
The German hotels are as individual and unique as the places where they are located. While the Kempinski in Beijing was opulently red, an elegant blue was the desired colour in Vancouver.

Beijing 2008
The German Olympic Sports Confederation presented the German House in the Kempinski Hotel Beijing. The Variotec SL design floor was ideal for temporary, intensive use: The planks adhere directly to the subfloor, withstand heavy loads and can be used immediately.
