Marlene Fichter
Marlene is still a new member of the JOKA team. She can already look back on a number of successes at youth level. In the 2023/2024 season, she was once again part of the German squad for the European Championships and the World Youth Championships, where she won gold in the relay and silver in the mixed relay. In 2024, she made her debut in the IBU Cup on the Arber and became German champion in the pursuit.

What does nature mean to you?
Nature means a lot to me! As a child, I always enjoyed being outdoors all day and I still do now with my job as an athlete :)
It gives me the peace and serenity I need in difficult times and helps me to be in the here and now. I also love taking photos and nature is always aesthetically pleasing in a special way!
What makes a house or flat a home for you?
An flat becomes a home for me as soon as I feel that the colours, pictures and pieces of furniture match my personality and character. I love interior design and therefore spend a lot of time constantly making my home even cosier and more beautiful. On the one hand, it's the necessary order that allows me to relax and on the other hand, it's the personal pictures, colour combinations and unique pieces of furniture that make me feel at home.
What motivates you?
I am often motivated by the joy in the eyes of other people around me when I do something good for them, for example. And small successes motivate me to work for the greater good :)
