Juliane Frühwirt
Juliane joined the local ski club at the age of eight and won the gold medal in the sprint at the 2016 Youth Olympic Games. Away from the slopes, the biathlete from Tambach-Dietharz is active in customs and enjoys mountaineering and canoeing in her free time. She moved to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Mittenwald base after graduating from the Oberhof sports high school. In the 2020/2021 season, Juliane had her first taste of World Cup action and celebrated her World Cup debut in Östersund, Sweden.

Do you have certain rituals or habits before a competition?
No - because there are often so many unexpected things that happen that it would stress me out if I couldn't do my ritual.
Favourite sport right after biathlon and why?
Trail running and hiking in the mountains. Ideally with a coffee and cake on a mountain pasture.
